As quoted by our inspirational leader Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam, knowledge is the key to achieve the vision of developed India and Education is the primary driving force of one's personal growth. CANdles is a foundation committed to help underprivileged children by offering education with the belief that education is the only means to uplift an individual and therefore a society.

The name "CANdles" signifies lightening the lives of underprivileged children by offering education and thereby enhancing their lives. Everyone in CANdles team is referred as a CANdle who contribute to the common cause of lightening the lives of underprivileged children.

On 11th January 2015 CANdles is started by a group of Working professionals and is registered as a trust in July 2015.
